The hotel was a perfect location in the French Quarter. Walking distance to everything. Our room (226) was very quiet and tucked away to where we didn't hear any street noise like our friends heard at the front of the building. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and there was plenty of room in our deluxe king room. We loved the 21st Amendment Bar that was around back of the hotel and the live music that it had. Must eat at restaurants: GW Fins (two minute walk from hotel, superb service, ambiance, and seafood menu). Creole Cookery (8 minute walk from cookery, gorgeous courtyard seating, and fried oysters are a must). Briquette (Amazing seafood in the warehouse district, about 15 minute walk from hotel) Great Brunch Spots: Brussard's and Court of Two Sisters and of course, Ruby Slipper. Make reservations month ahead of time to ensure your times. We had a group of 8, so it was essential to plan ahead. Ryan's Irish Pub- great on tap beer.

We stayed in a 2-bed superior queen (room 315) from 12-16 May. We had asked for a quiet room, given the location is just around the corner from the notoriously noisy Bourbon Street. Our room faced the courtyard on the 3rd floor and was very quiet, so we were NOT disturbed by music or drum-banging - just the odd noisy guest shouting in the courtyard from time to time ! The shower was spacious and the sink was located outside the shower room which was good. The closet/drawer space was very good. Breakfast (paid separately) was either buffet at the weekend or à la carte. I always ate à la carte and it was delicious. The housekeeping came every day and did a good job. We didn’t have a car for the duration of our stay and we did not need one as everywhere is easily walking distance around the French quarter/quay side, or the trams can be used to go further afield.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Mazarin in New Orleans, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The girl who received us at night was very kind and friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities. But what really made my stay stand out was the hotel's perfect location. Just a short stroll from Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, I was able to explore all the city's iconic landmarks with ease. Overall, I highly recommend the Hotel Mazarin. I'll definitely be back! 5/5 stars.

Spacious rooms - we had 2 and both were on the large side. Modern bathrooms with great showers. Courtyard a cool place to sit in at the end of a busy day. Wine bar on site worked well for us. Breakfast was substantial and worth the extra money. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays tho. Location was perfect - minutes from everywhere. Some noise in eve but I think you expect treat for such a great location. I quite liked hearing all the fun.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable. Due to the extreme heat and high humidity we really appreciated the complimentary bottled water provided. Great location, only 3 blocks from the trolley line.
